1. Introduction
ScrollVox — AI Teleprompter (the “App”) is provided by Beijing Zaomeng Shidai Technology Co., Ltd., doing business as iDream Era. This policy covers the App and the ScrollVox website.
2. Information We Collect
Scripts you create or import are stored locally unless you choose Apple iCloud sync. Support messages may include your email and information you provide. We may process limited device, app, language, region, feature-usage, screen-event, identifier, and subscription-status information for compatibility, analytics, security, troubleshooting, and service reliability.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, phone number, or email unless you provide it voluntarily. We do not store microphone recordings on our servers; voice recognition is processed locally unless a feature explicitly states otherwise. We do not collect precise location data or sell personal data.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to operate the App, provide teleprompter settings, validate Apple subscriptions, improve performance and features, diagnose problems, respond to support, and deliver important service or security notices. Analytics is not used for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
5. Third-Party Services
Apple provides App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, and optional iCloud sync under Apple’s policies. The international App may use Mixpanel to understand feature usage, performance, device and app properties, and limited account or subscription status. Mixpanel is used only for analytics, troubleshooting, and product improvement—not targeted advertising, data brokerage, or cross-app tracking.
6. Legal Bases and Consent
Where applicable law requires consent for analytics or usage data, we seek it before enabling collection. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may object to or restrict certain processing.
7. Storage, Security, and Retention
Scripts and many settings stay on your device; optional iCloud data is handled through Apple. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure. Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy, legal obligations, security, disputes, and enforcement.
8. How We Share Information
We may share limited information with Apple, Mixpanel, contracted service providers, authorities when legally required, parties needed to protect users or the service, or parties to a lawful business transaction. We do not sell personal data.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to local law, you may request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, or withdrawal of consent. You can delete local content, uninstall the App, manage iCloud in Apple settings, and contact us about privacy requests.
10. International Transfers
Information may be processed outside your country. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
11. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the updated date and, where required, an additional notice.
